Why I won't eat at the Big Rapids Wendy's

Well, last Sunday I drove Amanda in to work at Wendy's.  A couple of hours later she called me to pick her up.  I knew something was amiss.  She came out got in the van and started crying.  She had been fired.  I asked her what happened.  There were five people working in the store.  2 managers, a grill person, a sandwich maker, and Amanda at the front register.  One manager was taking orders and giving change at the first drive-thru, one manager was handing food out the second drive-thru, of course you know what the grill and sandwich person were doing.  Amanda was taking orders, giving change, getting drinks, making frostys, and all of the other things the front register person does (more than any other worker at that particular time).  She asked for help from a manager because she had an order for something she had never been trained to do and because she felt she could not "keep up."  The manager from the first drive-thru came up and proceeded to tell her that she should know these things, she was too slow, and she could not continue to ask for help.  This was all in front of customers in line.  Then in an apparent fit of frustration with Amanda she fired her, also in front of the customers.  So...Amanda called me and then went and sat in the lobby to wait for me to pick her up.  Some of the customers who witnessed the "firing" came over and told Amanda they could not believe how mean those "people" were.  When we got home I told Amanda to take off that horrible Wendy's shirt and never put it back on again:D  I have worked for Wendy's as a Manager and know that this is not the way Cooperate would like there franchises run.  The job was pretty horrible but Bill and I took the "tough it out approach."  So... after reading this Mom's rant now you know why my family will not eat at the Big Rapids Wendy's again!
